We're happy you have joined us! But, in order to begin your journey, you must read the rules before beginning here. That's why you were redirected here when you registered. If you were browsing the site before you registered and already read the rules, you can skip this part.

basic rules of canine paws
1. Be nice to other members...It's like the classic saying, "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it at all". This applies to Canine Paws as well. Please be sure to only say kind things to other members of CP. This site wasn't meant for hate! If you don't like someone, you don't need to role-play with them.
2. No swearing...Although, there might be members who are a little more mature on CP, please be sure to not curse on our site. If you do, your words will immediately be replaced with another. If you are caught swearing, you will be warned. You only get three warnings on CP.
3. Don't spam...There is no point in doing this. If you feel that your topic needs to be noticed, please bump it for other users to discover it instead of just spamming. Spamming is annoying and pointless, and wastes space on our site! If you are caught, you will get a warning (1/3), and your posts that were spammed will be deleted. We record all warnings.
4. Don't double post...This is completely unneeded. The only exception to this rule are solo topics, such as character trackers, art topics, etc.
5. Only one account on Canine Paws...The only way you would be able to make another account is if your account was deleted and you would like to join us again. Otherwise, if found out you have multiple accounts, you will be warned and your other account will be deleted. Please tell staff if you are having a hard time logging into your account, we can help with that!
6. Only play as your approved animals...Unless you are a part of an event or other type of topic, you may not play as another animal that is unapproved. For instance, if you have created a topic that hasn't been approved, please contact staff, who will get to you ASAP!
7. Please contact staff if you are going to be absent for a long period of time...If we are not made aware that you are gone, we will consider your dogs dead or lost, therefore, you would be unable to role-play as them. If you forget to tell staff about an absence, please contact us so we can bring back your characters.
