hunting system
Here at Canine Paws, we like to add a spice to things. For example, we figured that it would be more exciting if we introduced a dice. A dice determines if you catch the prey you are looking for when hunting, along with your battle moves when fighting. This is going to be discussed later.
*The hunting system isn't required for every hunt made. BUT, it is required when being tested for an assessment. For instance, an apprentice is being trained by their mentor, a tier. The dice is required for this. It is also required for patrols if you want requirement rank completed.
What happens when I roll a 10?: A 10 is different than any other number on the dice. The dice only goes through 1-10, and the success rate is put below here to discuss which numbers you need to get in order for your hunt to be successful. A 10 will automatically create a predator fight. Which predator will be determined is explained further in this topic. The chance is different for each pack because of their natural instincts. This is the same for the type of season.
Please know that your character spends 3 SP when hunting, even if the catch is unsuccessful. During winter, your character will spend 5 SP due to the harder landscaping. If your dog is disabled then you will have a -2 chance to catch something. If you had a 1-8 chance, you now have a 1-6 chance. If it's not marked with a 0, the disabled character can still catch it if rolled 1.

Gripping Bite does -10 HP for -30 SP cost. Clamps onto the dog's appendage and stays for 2 turns. Deals damage and loses SP each turn. Will take full attacks while gripping.
Damaging Bite does -70 HP for -90 SP cost. Can only be used once per battle.
Weasel:

Moveset:
Bite does -20 HP damage for -30 SP cost.
War Dance does -10 HP for -40 SP cost. Makes the weasel extra mobile for 1 turn. The weasel can not be hit until after it's next turn.
Ones of these predators will attack you if 10 is rolled.
